Zuvo Water Purator Review and Giveaway

As I have mentioned a few times that we live out in the country of a really small town and let’s face it our water out here isn’t the best in the world. It’s not well water it’s a rural water company but we are constantly getting letter in the mail telling us to boil our water before use and the smell of the water is really not all that pleasant so we only use it for cooking and cleaning, I buy bottled water because I fell it is safer for my family, well that was until I had the opportunity to try out the Zuvo Water Purator!

About Zuvo Water Purator (Taken From Website):

Zuvo™ Water LLC is a global innovator of chemical-free water products. Zuvo’s product portfolio is based on a patented technology platform that reproduces the photo-oxidation process that naturally occurs in the environment.

Zuvo practices sustainable design to keep products in use longer, thereby reducing their impact on the environment and keeping them out of an already crowded waste stream. Their goal is to innovate with the environment in mind, using materials and methods that minimize the use of energy, optimize recycling, and reduce the cost of transportation. Zuvo is on a quest to reduce the impact of plastic water bottles on the planet and hopes to provide healthy water for the world by donating all profits on the sale of our stainless steel water bottles to the Hippo Water Roller Project.

Zuvo’s portfolio of existing and development-stage water treatment applications includes point-of-use systems, specialty applications, and military and emergency/disaster relief solutions.

Headquartered in Mountain View, CA, Zuvo works with global partners – from government entities to multi-national corporations – to introduce exciting new technologies and products to the water marketplace.

Our Thoughts:

We were sent one of the Zuvo Water Purator in Stainless Steel to review and I could not wait to get it and give it a try! It arrived super fast and once my husband got home from work we set out to hooking it up and getting started!

Set up is extremely easy all we had to do was screw on the adapter and then attach the Zuvo Water Purator and there it was all ready to go!

Once it was connected we turned on the water and let the cylinder fill up completely with water and let it run some through.

Then it was time for the ultimate test, yes the taste test and I can tell you before I ever even tasted the water it smelled a whole lot fresher! Our regular water out of the tap itself had a very strong smell that made me uneasy to let my family drink it and the taste itself was horrible, but now with the Zuvo Water Purator the smell is gone and the water taste better than any water I have ever drank before!

Since receiving and using the Zuvo Water Purator we no long spend countless dollars on bottled water, we use refillable bottles with our own water from the Zuvo when we are going to be going anywhere to take it with us! It’s so nice to be able to run and get a drink of water out of the faucet now and know it’s healthy and won’t make my family sick! Even “Bug” has started drinking more water (but between me and you I think he just likes to see the Zuvo glow blue) but really who cares as long as he is drinking water and I’ve notice we all drink more water since installing the Zuvo!

Bottom Line:

I feel like the Zuvo Water Purator has been a real life savor in our home! We now all drink more water and we are actually saving money because we no long buy bottles after bottles of water that don’t taste near as good as the water from the Zuvo!

I’m very confident in my Zuvo and I do recommend that everyone invest in one if you are like us and have ucky tap water at home. I think one of these would also be wonderful to have in daycares and other care facilities! I do wish I would have had one of these when “Bug” was tiny and still on formula, because I feel it would have saved a ton of money vs. having to buy the baby water because our tap was so bad!

Another thing I love about the Zuvo is that it helps us help our local environment by keeping us from buying bottles and throwing them away, we are keeping unnecessary waste our of our local landfills and it feels really great knowing I can have clean water for my family and also help our environment all at the same time!!

In addition to visible light, the Zuvo Purator UV lamp emits shortwave UV energy across a band of wavelengths from 160 nanometers to 260 nanometers (hence the term “broad spectrum”). These two key UV wavelengths are fundamental to the Zuvo performance. That's a high-tech water filter! Thank you for the great give-away.
