Shout Review and Shout’s New Go Play Initiative

With a 2yr old little boy running around, we get plenty of stains not only on his clothing but ours as well. Not to mention that I just got me a new bedding set and 2 days after I got it he managed to some how spill grape juice on it and put a pretty nasty stain on my brand new cream colored comforter! But I didn’t quite freak out because I knew I could count on the power of Shout to get rid of the stain quick and painlessly! Now, for as long as I can remember my mother had used Shout to get stains out of mine and my sisters clothing and it’s always been a favorite in my household and a must have since becoming a mom 2 years ago!

Shout Tackles Stains:
Shout, doesn’t want the thought of tough stains to hold you and your family back, with the stain-fighting power and versatility of Shout, you can treat stains wherever and whenever they happen. We’d love to hear your feedback on how you tackle the toughest stains.

I was sent a few Shout products to do a review on from the Growing Tree Toys Blog Network and S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. I could not have been happier to be chosen to participate in this campaign because like I said before Shout has always been a staple in my laundry room and now I had the chance to try a couple of other products as well.

I was sent a bottle of Shout Trigger Laundry Stain Remover, which is the Shout product that I have always used and remember my mother using as I was growing up. I love this product because all you have to do is spray on the stain let it set a few minuets, pop it in the washer and the stain is gone! It’s so quick and simple that it’s a must have on my laundry shelf!

I was also sent a bottle of Shout Advanced Ultra Gel and I had threatened to pick some of this up a couple of times while at the store but I never did and I was really missing out! This is the product I used on my cream colored comforter and cream colored pillow cases that had not only a huge grape juice stain but also had some chocolate smudges from “Bug” as well and it was so easy to remove all the stains using the Shout Advanced Ultra Gel that I will now think twice about the product I use to treat further stains like grape juice, chocolate and grass stains. What I love most about this product is the brush, it makes it so much easier to make sure you are getting the stain covered all the way and loosens it up which makes it easier for it to come out during the wash!

The last product I was sent to review was the Shout Color Catcher and I can tell you I am now sold on these color catching sheets! I have seen them on TV quite a bit the last few weeks and thought boy I sure need to try those, I have this pair of red shorts that has bleed from the day I bought them and they have been wash I don’t know several times and I still have pink colored clothing when I take them out of the washer, well did have until I got the chance to use the Shout Color Catcher and now I’m a true believer I just had to use them with my red shorts and sure enough when I took them out of the washer the only pink thing that came out of my washer was the Shout Color Catcher sheet!

Bottom Line:

Shout products are a must have at our house! I have always used Shout products, my mother used them and my grandmother used them so they have and always will be a staple in my laundry room because I know I can always count on Shout to get my toughest stains out even with an extremely messy 2 year old running around I don’t have any stain worries thanks to S.C. Johnson & Son and Shout!
