Baby Blanket Suncare Review and Giveaway

Summer is finally starting to wind down, and thank goodness for that, I can’t think of another summer in my entire life that has been so hot and muggy here in our little town and quite frankly it’s sucked! The one thing I did enjoy about summer was all the time we got to spend at our local creek swimming as a family. “Bug’ has super light skin with light blond hair so as you can imagine he burns very easy and it’s really important that we use some sort of sun protection on him even during the fall and winter months to keep him from burning. I was recently introduced to a fabulous sun care company just for a baby’s sensitive skin who is it you may be asking it’s Baby Blanket!

About Baby Blanket (Taken From Website):

Baby Blanket Suncare, a division of the Children's Healthcare Research Group, has been researching, developing and manufacturing the world's best sunscreens for babies and children since 1999. Under the consultation of Dr. Rober Sayre, co-developer of the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) system, and President James Mercer with 20 years experience in the marketing and technology of suncare, Baby Blanket and the Children's Healthcare Research Group has a history of producing the most innovative and quality sunscreens, made especially for babies and children, and offering these sunscreens in a variety of unique application methods such as our Zinc Oxide Sunscreen Stick SPF45+ and SunBlankie Sunscreen Towelette SPF45+; two innovations that Baby Blanket was first to introduce and bring to market in the baby suncare segment.

Baby Blanket was the first suncare company to use Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide formulas in the baby suncare market, and was also the first to develop a ‘Tender Scalps’ sunscreen and a ‘faces’ sunscreen made especially for a baby’s tender scalp and delicate face.

Baby Blanket was also the first to introduce the Sunscreen Stick, Sunscreen Towelette and the patented UV400 Sun Protector sunglasses to the baby suncare market. Recognizing the need for bilingual packaging, Baby Blanket was the first in the baby suncare market to clearly label all its products with bilingual packaging.

In 2005 Baby Blanket introduced its new line of Kids sunscreens.
My Thoughts:

We were sent several products to review on “Bug’s” super light skin and I have to say I’m very impressed with everything we received to review not only do they work fantastic they are very convenient and easy to take with you on the go!
The first item we were sent to review was their Faces Sunblock Lotion for Babies, and I have to say this is one of my most favorite items we were sent, for the simple fact it’s the one we use most often. I love that it’s made just for “Bug’s” face and it’s ok for daily use even when we aren’t planning on staying outside for extended periods of time where his face is the only thing that really needs any kind of protection.
The next item we were sent to review was their Sunscreen Spray for Babies and I love this too, it’s so convenient to carry along in my purse or “Bug’s” diaper bag so we are always ready and on hand when we need it. I think it’s the perfect size to travel with and it sprays out just the right amount and works beautifully.

Next we were sent the Sunblock Lotion for Babies and this one is just as good as the others I’ve mentioned above. This is like a traditional sunsblock bottle and I love that it’s 50+ spf and it’s perfect for our days at the lake or creek swimming. It stands up great to the water while swimming and goes on smooth and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on “Bug’s” skin.
We also received the Zinc Oxide Formula Sunscreen Stick and this is a very convenient item to carry along with you. It’s the same wonderful formula as the other products so that it’s non-stinging, Paba-free, Hypoallergenic, water resistant and dermatologist tested and it comes in 45+ spf.
The last item that we received was their SunBlankie Towelette box of 6. This is probably my absolute favorite item out of the ones we received. I’ve found them to be the most convenient and super easy to use. They fit very nicely in our beach bag or diaper bag and I feel really confident using them on “Bug” because I know he will be protected!

Bottom Line:

I love Baby Blanket Suncare! I feel very confident using any of the products mentioned on “Bug” because I know that he will be adequately protected and I don’t have to worry about a nasty sunburn! I’m also very happy that each of the products above either come in 45+ or 50+ SPF so I know he is fully protected!

All the products mentioned above are Non-stinging, Paba-free, Hypoallergenic, Water Resistant, Pediatrician & Dermatologist Tested and offers Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection.

I think that any or all of these products are must haves for parents of little ones to make sure the are fully protected and if you are like me you will want to make sure they stay that way year around. I also think that these would be a wonderful addition to a new mother gift basket.
