Carson-Dellosa Publishing Trains Vehicle Play Set Review & Giveaway (Christmas Wish List 2010)

This year while searching for unique Christmas gifts for our little man to have on under the tree on Christmas morning, we have it quite easy he is really into reptiles, bugs, trains and dinosaurs so I know what to be on the look out for but with all the options available I want gifts that are not only going to be fun for him to play with but can also be used as a learning tool! So when I was contacted about featuring a couple of products from Carson-Dellosa Publishing in my Christmas Wish List 2010 and after spending some time looking over their huge selection of not only fun but educational products I was defiantly on board to give them a try!

About Carson-Dellosa Publishing (Taken From Website):

My Thoughts:

I was given the opportunity to review the Trains Vehicle Play Set, and although we are planning on having this under the tree on Christmas morning for “Bug”, Chad and I had to take it out and have a look at it in fairness of the review right???? Of course!!!! But let me just say it was hard to have a good time playing with the train set and looking at the book with out our little man :0)!!!

Here is a bit of information about the Trains Vehicle Play Set (taken from the website):

What kinds of trains help us move things every day? Find out with this all-aboard book and play set.

See photographs of real trains in action while reading about the job each type performs. Then, put yourself in the engineer’s seat and bring the trains to life when you play with the high-quality electric train set.

For more toot-tooting fun, place the poster stickers on the large TRAINS poster. The stickers are removable so you can use them again and again. Additional removable stickers can be used for decoration.

Here’s what you get:

A 24-page full-color book
A 4-piece train set
An interactive sticker poster
Reusable stickers

Ok, now since we are done with all the technical details it’s on to the real fun! Well…while reviewing this kit I realized I not only had one kid I actually have two, I think Chad was more excited about this play set then “Bug” will be he spent quite some time reading and looking over the book and playing with the train set! I will admit though that both the train set and book are pretty awesome and I know “Bug” is going to love looking at the book and playing with the train set….but my personal favorite in the kit was the interactive sticker poster and reusable stickers! I love that he will be able to not only place the stickers on a poster that he can make unique and all his own to hang in his room over his train shaped bed but he can remove and replace the stickers as he pleases!

I love that not only is this kit super fun but the book is full of wonderful color-photos and so much super information!!! I even learnt a lot of stuff I didn’t even know myself and that’s always fun to be able to learn with your kiddos right???

Bottom Line:

I can’t wait to see “Bug’s” reaction when he opens this super informative and fun Train kit on Christmas morning!! As much as he loves trains I think it will be one of his favorite gifts that he will receive!!! I also have a nephew that is highly into trains so I’m thinking that for this price and all the fun and facts he will learn that I’m going to be purchasing one of these for him as well!

If you are shopping for a boy that loves all things trains I highly suggest that you check out one of these super fun and informative kits….they are truly fun for train lovers of all ages!!
