Zylie the Bear Review and Giveaway (Christmas Wish List 2010)

I’ve got a company that I’m just itching to share with you all today, and they offer the most adorable bears I’ve ever seen! I know most of us shopping this holiday season has at least one little girl on our list that loves teddy bears and why not give her something a little more special than just a traditional teddy bear you can get at any discount store? I recently came across Zylie the Bear while looking for a gift for my little cousin who loves bears and once I looked around their website I was in love with their bears both Zylie and Shen the Panda!

Zylie is the toy I wish I could have had for my daughter when she was young. Sarah only liked playing with stuffed animals, but would see her sister Kate's doll clothes and want to dress up her teddy bear. So she'd stuff the bear into the doll clothes, and it all ended up looking ridiculous. I wondered then why there wasn't a toy that was cuddly like a teddy bear, but could be dressed and played with like a doll.

And from that idea Zylie was born. My son Matt and I have gone about creating a world of fun and adventure around Zylie, with a series of fun children's books that follow Zylie on her global travels, several fashionable new outfits for the bears, new friends like Shen the Panda, and most importantly, a strong role model for kids in the characters we create.

I hope that we have created the best possible play experience for the child in your life, but that process is never quite finished. My Thoughts:

I was sent both the Zylie the Bear and the Shen the Panda an I can’t tell you how much I have truly enjoyed checking out both of these super adorable bears!!! I love that each of these cuties come fully dressed with adorable outfits and come along with the first book of each of the series!

I decided to check out Shen the Panda first and much to my surprise my little man immediately clamed Shen as his own! We sure had a great time checking out all the cool accessories that comes along with Shen and reading the little book that also accompanies him! My son is all about drumming right now so this made a perfect companion for him and he has taken Shen everywhere we have went since seeing him, lately Shen has been his naptime partner and I think it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship!!! I’m loving that Shen is so cute and very soft and just makes a great cuddle buddy.

Next, I had a look at Zylie the Bear herself and just like Shen she is adorable, soft and so fashion forward! I know when I was a little girl I would have been thrilled to find a Zylie under my tree on Christmas morning! I’ve got a special little girl who is going to be thrilled to find Zylie on Christmas morning and I just can’t wait to see her reaction! I’m currently thinking about purchasing her a couple more of Zylie’s outfits so that she will be able to play dress up with her as well as read her story and be the best of pals!

Bottom Line:

I am very impressed at both the quality and durability of Zylie and Shen! I know my little man had really been kinda rough on Shen since receiving him but he has held up like a dream and they are quickly becoming the best of buds and Shen has replaced “Bug’s” first favorite stuffed toy and has really given him hours of fun! I have a feeling Zylie’s new friend on Christmas will feel the same about her as “Bug” does Shen!

I don’t really know any little girl who would not be thrilled to find either Zylie or Shen under the tree this Christmas, I know if I would have had one when I was younger I would have been one happy little lady!
