My Thoughts:

I was given the opportunity to create a special book for my mother from U Star Novels and I can’t tell you how excited I was when I discovered they offer the timeless Christmas classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens! I knew that it would make a wonderful gift for my mother since she really loves the book and the movies and it’s a must read and watch on her list every year around the Holidays, so I immediately chose A Christmas Carol and got started making my mother the star! I can’t tell you how extremely easy it was to put our entire family into the book, I was able to add my mother as the mean old Mr. Scrooge, my husband, myself, “Bug”, my sister, my dad and one of my cousins and I’m so excited to give it to her this Christmas and I’ve already been showing it off the my dad, sister and of course Chad, my hubby!

The whole customization process was extremely quick and easy, the hardest part was who was going to play what character but it was still pretty simple since I already had an idea of who was going to be who! The book arrived very quickly and is perfect in every way! I immediately had to skim the pages and I ended up reading the entire novel and it’s so wonderful! I think it’s great to be able to place my family in such an amazing tell that has and always will be the spirit of Christmas around our home!

The novel is put together so great and I’m loving the front cover that has the title A Christmas Carol starring Our Dear Mother by Charles Dickens:

Then there is the dedication page that let me create a special message to my mother! (It’s a bit blurry because of my camera but it says: This book is dedicated to: My Mother Judy from Stephanie Chad and Zane Bug Merry Christmas Nanny! December 25th 2010!:

And then of course there is the back of the book that has put all of the names I chose into the story summery and it’s just wonderful! I don’t know if you can see it good but here is a photo of the back of the book:

 

Bottom Line:

I love the U Star Novel I was able to create for my mother for this holiday season and I know it’s going to be a gift she will cherish for life and I hope that it will find a special place on her bookshelf and gets lots of love! I have had such a wonderful experience with Katie and U Star Novels that I will defiantly be going back for all my future book gift needs!
