Ok so by now you know how much I love great smelling candles right, well what I love more than great smelling candles is candles that pull double duty, you know what I’m talking about….a candle that not only leaves my bedroom smelling wonderful but also doubles as a massage lotion…what could possibly be better than that? When I was given the opportunity to review the Scandle Shimmering Lotion Candle I just couldn’t pass it up!

My Thoughts:
I was sent a Shimmering Lotion Travel Candle in Warm Vanilla Sugar and once it arrived at my door I could not wait to use it so I immediately took it into my guest bathroom and lit it to get it soft and ready to use as a lotion! It didn’t take very long at all for the candle to have my guest bathroom smelling so wonderful, I’m really loving the Warm Vanilla Sugar sent so when I got enough of the shimmering lotion to try out on my hands I just couldn’t wait to try it! I first thought that even though they said it doesn’t get but 2 degrees above body temperature that it was going to burn my hands when I poured it on them but to my surprise it was a nice warm feeling not to hot at all!
After using the shimmering lotion the candle produced on my hands I was immediately in love with it! It was such a nice change from my traditional cold hand lotion and it made my hands not only soft and gave them a nice shimmer they also smelled amazing!!! I much prefer to use the Shimmering Lotion Candle vs. traditional hand lotion from now on! Since using it on my hands I have also burnt the candle while I was in the shower and used it all over my body right after getting out of the shower and I’ve noticed after just a few uses that my skin looks healthier! I no longer have the ugly dry patches on my elbows and my legs are so much softer after using the shimmering lotion from the candle!
Bottom Line:
I love my Shimmering Lotion Travel Candle that I was sent to review and I’m quite sad that it’s almost all gone, but the great news is that I can purchase a new one in a fun new scent to try for around what I would spend on my traditional hand and body lotions I was buying before, but instead of just cold lotion I am getting a double duty candle that not only leaves my bathroom/bedroom smelling amazing it also leaves my skin feeling so soft and gives it such a nice glow and shimmer!
I think that Scandle Shimmering Lotion Candles would make a wonderful gift for anyone on you shopping list this holiday season! I think the Shimmering Lotion Travel Candles would make a wonderful stocking stuffer for your teen or collage aged daughters, as well as I’m planning on making up a gift basket for my sister and both of my sister-in-laws and I’m planning on including one of Scandle’s Shimmering Lotion Travel Candle so that they can experience Scandle for themselves, they are to wonderful to keep just to myself!
