Zach’s Wax Review and Giveaway (Christmas Wish List 2010)

Do you have a budding Rock Star in your family??? Even though my little “Bug” is only 2 ½ well will be 3 this February he has already started showing interest in the same classic rock music that I listen to regularly and since I sometime use un-natural hair colors in my hair he thinks that he too needs rock star hair as I call it but my concern was finding a color product for his hair that would be very temporary and not damage his hair at all so while searching the net one day after him begging to but color in his hair like mommy I found Zach’s Wax and I thought that it may just be the solution to our problem and was very excited when we were given the opportunity to review a color tube of Zach’s Wax!

Our Thoughts:

We were sent a tube of the Orange Extreme Color Gel to review and my little man was very excited when he see it and I told him it was for him to have rock star hair like mommy and we immediately went in and put some in his hair! It was super easy to put in and took just a few seconds to comb through and put orange highlights through his hair and he was ecstatic when he seen himself in the mirror! I myself loved the color and it looked great with his already blond hair and so simple to apply and as hard as I’ve tried and all the gels I’ve tried in the past hasn’t held his hair spiked this well!

I also love that the gels comes with a pair of gloves and a nifty little brush similar to a mascara brush that makes applying the color gel super quick and lets it go on smoothly and evenly! I’m also loving that the color isn’t so in your face as some of the other color gels I’ve personally used in the past and I think it is perfect for children of all ages! Now my biggest concern was rather or not if it would wash out without leaving a tint to his beautiful blond hair and with only one good washing all the color washed out and left his hair just as beautiful and blond as it was before we put the color in it.

Since receiving the color gel my little man has had me put it in his hair just about every time we went to leave the house and although I get some really crazy looks in and around town he seems too love the color and I think it’s awesome we can have rock star hair together and I don’t have to worry about destroying and permanently staining his naturally light blond hair!

Bottom Line:

We love Zach’s Wax Extreme Color Gel and we have decided we need to grab a couple more colors of gel for upcoming games and such! Not only have I used the color in my little man’s hair I’ve used it in my own hair so we could match (“Bug’s” idea) and I couldn’t be happier with the results that we both got from using the color gel it give us the super extreme color we crave and it washes out easily and doesn’t damage our hair!
