Smart Play Review and Giveaway (Christmas Wish List 2010)
When I am looking for gifts or toys for my little man, I make a conscious effort to get him only the best and educational games and toys for him so, of course when I started my Christmas shopping this year I immediately began looking for educational games and toys for not only my little man but also for all the children on my shopping list this year! I usually always start my window shopping online and when I happened to come upon Smart Play via google.com I immediately was drawn to their toys and games and knew they would be perfect for both my son and the other kiddos on my list!

Let's start learning!™
Our Thoughts:
We were sent two products from Smart Play to review the Smart Projector and the Alphabet Learning Puzzle! Now, I had no idea which products we would be sent to review up I had definitely had my eyes on the Alphabet Learning Puzzle and I was very excited when I opened the box to find it and the Smart Projector!
The first item we decided to review was the Alphabet Learning Puzzle and the first thing I noticed about the puzzle was the size of the pieces, they are large and perfect for “Bug’s” little hands to handle and put together. I also love that on one side it has the English A-B-C’s and on the other side it has the Spanish A-B-C’s and I think it’s wonderful since we are already trying to teach “Bug” Spanish since it’s very important this day and age to be bilingual in several languages! “Bug” was already very familiar with his A-B-C’s and can say them very well on his own but we were having a time with him recognizing the actual letter, but we played with this puzzle over and over for close to 45minuets and I have started incorporating it in our daily play time and “Bug” has improved so much on recognizing his letters and putting them in correct order with little or no help at all from me or his dad! I am very pleased with this puzzle for a number of reasons, which I’ve already mention but I also like that this puzzle is very durable and has withstood lots of use over and over again! I really recommend this puzzle to any family, preschool, day care and school to help teach our children to recognize their A-B-C’s and in what order they go in!
Next, we decided to check out the Ingenio Smart Projector that we were sent and I immediately became intrigued with this toy for the simple fact that it can help teach smaller children (ages 3+) how to trace and write their numbers and alphabets and with “Bug” getting really close to the 3 year old mark I feel that it is most defiantly time to start teaching him how to write and this is a wonderful tool to help do so! We have already started playing around with the Smart Projector and although “Bug” still doesn’t understand exactly what he is supposed to do with the numbers and letters I do use it to teach him to help recognize both numbers and alphabets. Another feature that I love about the Smart Projector is that it gives children ages 4+ the option of tracing and drawing 24 animals and teaching them to write their names in English/Spanish and when my nephews come over to visit they really enjoy drawing and coloring on the Smart Projector. The projector itself is pretty awesome I love how bright the light is, which makes it super easy to see the lines that need to be traced and the image can be sized to the needed drawing area!
Bottom Line:
We love both of the items we were sent from Smart Play and I can’t wait to check out some of the other awesome products they have to offer!!! I’m very impressed at both the durability and quality of the items we were sent and for the quality you get the prices of all the items available from Smart Play is very reasonable and I feel both the puzzle we were sent and the projector are well worth the money!!!
If you are looking for fun and educational games and toys to put under your tree this year I totally recommend checking out the Learning Alphabet Puzzle and the Ingenio Smart Projector, not to mention the other great products available by Smart Play!!
