Hasbro Toys Review and Giveaway (Christmas Wish List 2010)

When I think of great gift for the holiday season, birthdays and just because for kiddos, the fist company that comes to mind is most defiantly Hasbro and their amazing brands for kids of all ages. So naturally when I started working on my Christmas Wish List 2010 I was excited to share some of the amazing toys from Hasbro brands!!! I was given the opportunity to review 3 awesome toys from Hasbro and offer an awesome giveaway right here on The Cartoon Lovin’ Mama, and I know you guys are going to love this one!!!

Our Thoughts:

We were sent three items from Hasbro and their brands that included: Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory, Tonka Chuck & Friends Handy’s Hangtime Bridge, and Adventure Heroes Hero on the Go toys! I for one was extremely excited about this review because growing up Hasbro and their line of products and brands was always on the top of my Christmas Wish Lists every year for the simple fact that they are always super fun and very durable, and to be honest with a toddler you defiantly need fun and durability wrapped up in one package!!

The first item we were sent was the Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory, and if you are anything like me you just love Play-Doh, I grew up with it and ever since “Bug” has been old enough to play with it he has loved to play with it!! Now, he has had many tubs of Play-Doh but we have never gotten him any of the accessories like the factory and he was very excited to see this one come out of the box and we immediately decided to check it out!! This is really a pretty awesome play set I love that it is so easy to load in the Play-Doh and simply switch on the conveyer belt and choose your molds and start punching out fun play foods and toys, “Bug” had such a great time playing with the Fun Factory and it kept him busy for hours and he has made a point to play with the Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory everyday since it arrived at our door! Another great feature of the Fun Factory is that once you are finished playing for the day you can store up to six of your favorite color (cans) Play-Doh, and they are ready to go the next time you switch the Fun Factory on!!! I have to say that this is one of my favorite Play-Doh factories and sets that I have ever used, it’s very easy to work and is perfect for our soon to be 3year old!!! The Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory comes with two gears with 15+ molds, playmat and four three-ounce cans of PLAY-DOH modeling compound for lots of fun!!!

Next we were sent the Adventure Heroes Hero on the Go, Fire Hero On The Go Pack to review and this was another huge hit with “Bug” and my two nephews as well!! “Bug” has really started getting into the whole rescue toys and loves to play like he is a cop, doctor of fire fighter so as soon as I seen the Fire Hero On The Go Pack I knew that he was going to really have a great time with this toy!! The Fire Hero On The Go Pack transforms from a backpack for easy carrying, into a full blown fire station with appropriate lights and sounds and “Bug” really had a great time playing as a fire fighter putting out car fires on his little race cars!! I love that the figure and fire truck are just perfect for his little hands and this toy really lets his imagination run wild and I have really enjoyed watching him play “firefighter” with his cousins! I think this is a very unique toy, I’ve never seen a play set quite like this one and I thinks it’s a wonderful way to get your child’s imagination off and running! This whole play set is very durable and has withstood hours of play and has been transported from home to his grandparents home many times and still looks like new…true Hasbro fashion if I may say so!!

The last item we were sent to review and I get to give one of these babies away (keep reading to find out how to win) was the Tonka Chuck & Friends Handy’s Hangtime Bridge. “Bug” has always been drawn to the Tonka Chuck & Friends toys and he was very excited to see this play set in the box with the Play-Doh and Adventure Hero’s Fire Fighter play sets. Once Chad got home from work “Bug” was foaming at the bits to get the Tonka Chuck & Friends Handy’s Hangtime Bridge up and running for a test drive, the assembly of the play set was super easy and didn’t take much time at all and then it was time to make the first test drive, and “Bug” quickly figured out how to get Handy The Tow Truck started and the look in his eyes when Handy started doing his stunts was indescribable, he absolutely loves this set and we keep it put together on a table in his room so that it’s ready to go anytime he decides to play with him. Of all the items we received this one was by far his favorite although he has really enjoyed the other two this one is his pick if you ask him his favorite! I have to say that through all the playing and moving of this play set it is very durable and I have faith that it will be a favorite for quite some time to come!

Bottom Line:

We absolutely love Hasbro and their family of products and could not be happier with the items we were sent to review! After having them a couple of weeks and them being thoroughly test driven, I feel that my initial feeling of the Hasbro company and their product of being some of the best toys on the market for children in regards to price and durability not to mention the fun factor to be spot on and I’m very happy I was able to include them in our Christmas Wish List 2010 right here on The Cartoon Lovin’ Mama!

As if I really need to say this but I really recommend Hasbro and their family of products this holiday season for every little one on your list and with their huge selection and reasonable prices I’m sure you are going to find something for everyone!! We actually bought another Fire Hero On The Go Set and a Tonka Chuck & Friends Handy’s Hangtime Bridge to donate to our local Toys-For-Tots drive this holiday season!!
