Ever since getting married and moving in with my husband I’ve been able to pick and choose all of my household items and recently I’ve become more aware and have been trying to go all organic from my little man’s clothing to everyday household items like foods and bedding but one thing I did not yet know that I could get that was organic was my bath towels, now I’ve very particular about my bath towels I like them to be really big and really soft, since I think it’s the best part of taking a bath or shower is getting to wrap up in a nice soft towel and when I discovered I could get Organic Bath Towels from The Turkish Towel Company I was quite intrigued, I’ve heard such good things about The Turkish Towel Company online and was very excited when I was given the opportunity to review a couple of their Organic Bath Towels!
About The Turkish Towel Company (Taken From Website):
The Turkish Towel Company encompasses a combined 50-plus years of towel know-how. This partnership marries American design, development, and marketing experience to the world-renowned skills and quality of Turkish towel manufacturing. The result is unsurpassed style and quality in every towel that we produce.
Deep in the mountains of Southern Turkey there is a small village nestled under snow capped peaks. In this mountain hamlet called Babadag, lived and worked many of the master weavers of Turkish carpets. Legend has it that sometime during the 15th Century, one of these craftsmen decided to try weaving towels in the same manner that he wove rugs. Previous to this, all towels in the world were flat woven and had no loops. This weaver thought that the same loops that were used in carpet weaving would make a better towel and in fact the addition of loops to the towel did make it absorb water much faster. And thus the Turkish towel was born and became the world’s standard.
As the towel weaving business in Turkey grew and became world famous, these descendants of the village of Babadag became the best quality towel producers in the world. The Turkish Towel Company is owned by these descendants.
Each and every towel we provide is inspected three times
1. After weaving
2. After dyeing
3. After stitching
…to ensure the perfect towel.
The Turkish Towel Company products are all made in the legendary towel producing town of Denizli, Turkey, the world’s largest center for woven terry production.
Particular attention is paid to the stitching and finishing of all products. All our towels are double-stitched along the lengths to avoid fraying and for added stability.
While a Turkish towel may cost more initially, in the long run it costs a lot less as it will easily outlast towels of inferior quality.
All our products are woven in our modern production facility with Swiss made computer controlled weaving equipment.

Ok, now back to the fun stuff! I love these towels!!! That pretty much sums it up, I’ve owned several towels in the 5years that my husband and I have been married, and yes we each have had our favorites in the past but these are in a class all their own! They really remind me of the super classy hotel towels only like 5 times better if that makes any since at all. I don’t really think there is any way to describe the luxury of these towels unless you use one for yourself! Since we only have two of these super awesome towels it’s sometimes a fight to see who gets to shower first so we can use the last towel and they are in the was on a pretty regular basis.
That brings us to the next note…..the durability of these towels and since they are a favorite of all of us here in the house (yes, “Bug” even picks them over his dragon towel!) they are in the wash just about every time I was towels (bout twice a week) and we have been using them for a few weeks now and they have held up wonderfully, they are still just like new, not like some of the high dollar department store towels that you spend a fortune on and then they start unraveling within just a few washes, these towels are very high quality and well made and I have yet to experience any problems what so ever, well….besides who’s using the last one!
The Organic Bath Towels from The Turkish Towel Company has really changed the way we look at our regular bath towels and I have a feeling I will be purchasing more of these to replace some of our older towels that aren’t in the best shape (ie lots of holes and such), also I would like to have a set of these and the wash cloths to go with them in our guest bathroom for when we have over night guest! I know these towels are a little on the pricey side but I do assure you that they are worth every last penny you will spend on them, your going to get some beautiful white towels that are super soft and will last a very long time!
