Build-A-Bear Workshop Stuffed with Love Review and Giveaway (Valentine’s Day Gift Guide)

When you think about Valentine’s Day you think about your significant other, be it your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend right? But, do you ever think about your little ones? I know every Valentine’s Day since “Bug” has been born my husband and I both get the little man a little something for Valentine’s Day which is usually a small box of assorted chocolates and a stuffed animal! So, when I was contacted by Build-A-Bear to conduct a Stuffed with Love review and giveaway right here on my blog I just could not pass it up! I just knew after looking at the adorable Love Bear and Love Bug out just in time for Valentine’s Day I knew “Bug” would just love the Love Bug!

“Bug” was sent an adorable boy Love Bug to review, since we don’t live close enough to an actual Build-A-Bear Workshop to go and make our own Love Bug. Our Love Bug arrived super quickly and came in it’s own little home along with a birth certificate that “Bug” and I could fill out to make him our very own!

Now, we have been to a Build-A-Bear in the past and “Bug” really did enjoy creating a Frosty this past Christmas and I have to say that our time at the Build-A-Bear Workshop was one of the most enjoyable family activities we have done. I think that it’s a wonderful place where your child is able to use their imagination and create their very own special friend. I also think that giving your child the option to choose their own bear, stuff it, place in it’s little heart and choose it’s attire really helps your child display their own personal style. As a grown up I also had a wonderful time making my own special friend a Build-A-Bear a few years ago and it’s just really fun for the parents as well as the kiddos! The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable about the stuffed animals that they have in their workshop. The store itself is very clean and well organized to get you in and out quickly while having a blast creating your special friend.

Back to our review on our cute little Love Bug, my little “Bug” has named his new friend Buddy, and takes this little guy everywhere with him. The first night he arrived he went around wearing the little head band that came along with the Love Bug and carried him around and he actually used him as a sleeping buddy that night….well he’s been his new sleeping buddy over the past few nights. Every day when “Bug” goes to my parents house to stay while I go to school he has to take Buddy with him. I personally think that Buddy is adorable and would make a wonderful Valentine’s gift for any little one.

Bottom Line:

“Bug” loves his new friend Buddy the Love Bug and takes him everywhere he goes as well as uses him as a security blanket at bedtime. We just love Build-A-Bear Workshop and the opportunity that it give kiddos to show their individuality and make their own special friend that they will always remember. I really feel like a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop will be an activity that the entire family will remember and enjoy!
