BioMed DB Design Review and Giveaway

Do you or someone you know have issues with neck, back or shoulder pain? My husband and I both suffer from back pain, while mine is only minor and not constant my husbands is the complete opposite he has a slipped disc and usually has sever back pains and aches. The Result of Necessity

Long distance travel has become part of our lives. We visit family members, visit national and state parks, go fishing, camping, hiking, boating, and have a lot of fun. However, everywhere we go, our shoulder and neck pain start to remind us that even priceless memory comes at a price. To relief our pain, we tried many traditional U-shaped pillows; none of them completely fit our needs. They were often too small, too large, too ridged, or too soft. They didn’t provide the support where we needed it the most. Designing and making our own pillow was the result of necessity. After months of design and redesign, testing, collecting feedbacks, and making bags of different style pillows, Sunshine Pillow was born. Our family cannot live without our lovely pillows. We use them all the time, watching TV, reading a book, and riding the car or traveling on airplanes. We even rest on our pillows while lying on beaches. Surprisingly, Sunshine Pillow quickly became a favorite among our friends, and is a delightful Christmas gift.

Our Thoughts:

We were sent the Microwaveable Hot/Cold lavender back pain heating pad with lavender, 12x14 to review and we were very excited when it arrived and I used it myself the day it arrived to help relive my back pain associated with my “monthly gift” and I have to say that I will NEVER go back to a traditional plug up heating pad ever again!!!

To warm this heating pad us is super easy all you have to do is place it in the microwave for about 2 minuets and the heat last for around thirty minuets (give or take a few)! I love to use the back pad at night before bed, like when I’m laying in bed winding down from the day reading a chapter in one of my text books for class or watching my favorite TV show. My absolute favorite thing about this particular hot/cold pad is that it’s super convenient since it doesn’t have a cord to plug up it’s very easy to take with you to any part of the house or as my husband likes to use it in his truck on his way to work in the morning to help ease his pain before work.

The hot/cold pad comes with a navy blue anti-pil fleece cover that can be removed and washed unlike traditional heating pads we have used in the past that end up very stinky and can’t be washed, if this one gets too stinky I can just toss the fleece cover in the wash and it will be nice and fresh for the next use. The pad is filled with flaxseed (which holds the heat/cold) but you can have yours filled with rice if you would like. This pad is much more comfortable to lay on than other heating pads I’ve tried, it’s much softer and you don’t have the cords uncomfortably poking into your back.

We have both used our back heating pad for much more than just our backs, my husband uses it sometimes on his neck and shoulders and I have used it on my stomach, ankle and recently for a very bad tooth ach and it’s worked wonderfully on those problem places as well! This heating pad is made of very high quality materials and very durable, as we have used it many times and it still works just like it did the day it arrived. Also unlike other heating pads we have used in the past this heating pad has a fleece cover instead of cotton which keeps the pad insolated so it holds heat much longer than the cotton cover would have. The insert to the pad has many little compartments to keep the filling in place and the fleece cover does not bunch after use!

Bottom Line:

We love our new Microwaveable Hot/Cold lavender back pain heating pad with lavender, 12x14 and we would most defiantly recommend anyone who has back pain or any pain for that matter to check out the Microwaveable Hot/Cold Block Pad for Back Pain Relief and the other awesome items that Sunshine Pillows has to offer.
