Plentiful Pantry, Inc Review and Giveaway

Like I mentioned before I love to bake and cook now that I’m a full time stay at home mom so I’m always on the lookout for new food related products and recipes and when I came across Plentiful Pantry, Inc and had a long look at their website and the products that they offered I was thrilled when they said they would send me a few products to review here on the blog and also offer a giveaway for all of my lovely readers :0)!

About Plentiful Pantry, Inc (Taken From Website):

Pasta Partners was started by Debbie & Jody (her husband) in 1992 as a result of our ongoing passion for great food. I did the recipe development, Jody did the tasting. I had worked in some great restaurants and took pleasure in entertaining our friends with fabulous meals. When asked for my recipes, I would tell them about the chopped garlic, fresh herbs and different spices I used. Now, we are not saying that our friends are lazy (we prefer to view them as “time challenged”) but they wanted an easier way. That’s when the fun began. I converted all of those good fresh ingredients to dried and we were in business.

In the beginning we focused on ways to make quick and easy pasta dishes that would rival those in the best restaurants. As we have grown and added products we still keep in mind everything must be quick and easy as well as healthy. And last but certainly not least the flavors must be outstanding. After all, “you can get average in your grocery store”!

Enjoy!
Debbie & Jody Chidester

Our Thoughts:

I was sent one of each of the following products to review, Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars (No-Bake), Key Lime Cheesecake Bars, Three Cheese Risotto, Tortilla Soup, Chicken & Dumplings Soup, Rainbow Angel Hair with Olive Oil and Marinara Wine Sauce!

The first product that “Bug” and I decided to prepare was the Key Lime Cheesecake Bars and my first thought when I took these out of the original shipping box was isn’t this box very appealing and in it’s own way cute? I love cheesecake and Key Lime so I figured this would be a wonderful product to start out with! So we gathered up all the simple ingredients (most of which we had in our fridge):

Then we got to cooking! The whole process of making these delicious Key Lime Cheesecake Bars is very easy and doesn’t take long at all to make:

These yummy bars are the fruits of our labor:

These were a huge hit around our house for as long as they lasted and as always I shared with my mom, dad and sister and they loved them too!

Next we tried the Three Cheese Risotto with slices of polish sausage mixed in and man was this ever good! Simple ingredients that we already had at home made a quick and filing meal that the whole family loved. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Three Cheese Risotto since I had never had it before but it was defiantly worth the try and I have a feeling the way my husband and “Bug” ate this that it will be a regular around here.

I’m also loving the Tortilla Soup, it’s unlike any other soups I had tried before. To us it’s a kick to your taste buds but it isn't hot/spicy like what I was expecting and makes a perfect end to a long day and I’m thinking that it would be perfect on a crisp cool fall night before a hometown football game.

The Chicken & Dumplings Soup is my husbands favorite out of all the products we tried! I think he was pleasantly surprised at the taste of this soup in which we had most of the ingredients her at home and it was quick and easy to make a hardy meal that my husband says we are going to have more often. He said it reminds him of the way his great grandmother had made them.

We also tried the Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars and I love pumpkin anything and with fall right around the corner this is the perfect dessert or snack treat! I can already tell after trying both the Pumpkin and Key Lime Cheesecake Bars and how quick and easy they are to fix my waist line isn’t going to be happy :0)! These were just as easy to make as the Key Lime Bars and they were just as tasty!

The last product(s) we got to try was the Rainbow Angel Hair with Olive Oil and Marinara Wine Sauce and I put these together here because that is how we cooked them, and all I can say is wow! This is some of the best pasta I have ever cooked here at home, it taste like something you can only get at an upscale Italian Restaurant. The best part is we had it at home with out the price and having to wait in line.

Bottom Line:

Like I said I love to cook but let’s face it even though I’m a stay at home mom I don’t have a lot of time to cook with a two year old and running all the errands that has to be run weekly there are maybe two days of the week that I can actually sit down and make a made from scratch meal for the family but thanks to Plentiful Pantry my family has had some awesome meals that taste like made from scratch but don’t take long to prepare.

With the prices and product selection at Plentiful Pantry I have a sneaking suspicion that we will be trying a lot more of their products! We could not be happier with the selection of products that were sent to us to review we couldn’t have chosen better ourselves.

If you are looking for quick easy meals and desserts be sure to head on over to Plentiful Pantry I’m pretty confident that you are going to find something yummy you can’t wait to try and I don’t think you will be disappointed!
