I love candies of all kinds but I’m particularly fond of toffee and fudge so anytime I get a chance to try either of them out I’m beyond excited. So one day while browsing the web I came across Enstrom Candies, Inc and I was immediately drawn to their toffee and I was thrilled when they agreed to allow me do a review and giveaway on their Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee.
About Enstrom Candies, Inc (Taken From Website):
Three generations ago, Chet Enstrom perfected the art of blending the finest natural ingredients to create batches of almond toffee as gifts for family and friends. By 1960, his almond toffee had begun to develop a reputation and, at the urging of family and friends, Chet and his wife, Vernie, founded Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Over the years. the business has grown and been passed down from generation to generation. The family still follows the same original recipe for the almond toffee that Chet perfected almost 60 years ago. The family has also created a delectable selection of fine chocolates, which like the toffee, is blended with only the freshest natural ingredients to create luxurious and unique creations that are shipped around the world.
Today, Chet’s granddaughter, Jamee and her husband, Doug Simons, oversee the operation out of Grand Junction and Chet’s grandson Rick, and his wife Linda, manage the Denver stores. This third generation continues to take pride in creating truly exceptional confections and still operates with the philosophy begun by Chet over 60 years ago; that they’re just making a little Almond Toffee for a few of their friends.
I was sent 1 lb of Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee to review and I could not wait for it to sit in the fridge long enough for it to cool down a bit from shipping, but I will state that it seemed to hold up great during shipment! So after a couple of hours in the fridge I decided it was time to give this toffee a taste and I can say this is THE BEST Almond Toffee I have ever put in my mouth! I’ve had several different brands and my grandmothers handmade Almond Toffee but this is by far the best ever!
Chad and “Bug” both agreed that this Toffee was amazing and really wakes your taste buds up and the chocolate is really smooth and creamy! It’s hard toffee but not to hard if you know what I mean. I love that it has just the right amount of Almonds so it’s not to many but not enough either it’s perfectly nutty! I will admit that the 1lb of toffee didn’t last long since we had a small get together of about 8 or 9 friends and their children it was eaten pretty fast but everyone raved about how delicious it was and wanted to know where they could get their own so I sent them straight to the Enstrom Candies, Inc website.
I love, love, love Enstrom Candies, Inc Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee and will be purchasing more in the future and I’ve got a couple of people in mind for the up coming holidays that this would make the perfect gift.
I suggest if you like toffee you should defiantly get you some of Enstrom Candies Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee, trust me I don’t think you will be disappointed in any way!!!
