Since my husband and I have been married going on 5 years this November we have never really taken a family vacation but now that “Bug” is getting old enough to enjoy himself if we did take a vacation we have been looking around for the perfect place to go and chill out for a week or two. I have always had a love for Florida and when I was younger my parents took my sister and I down to Walt Disney World and SeaWorld in Orlando for a summer vacation and I loved every minuet of it, even though most of the time it was raining we still had a blast!
So since Chad never got to go to Walt Disney World when he was younger and I loved it so much I think it would be a perfect place for our first official family vacation!!! I’ve been doing some research and I’ve already got our vacation pretty much planned out. I would love to be able to stay for two whole weeks but I don’t think with Chad’s job that would be possible so I’m just planning a week right now but it’s still packed with lots of fun and adventure!
We will be staying in Kissimmee because there are lots of cool things that we can do as a family or just as a couple! With Kissimmee being in the heart of Florida you have lots of cool attractions and activities near by like Soar to the stars at Kennedy Space Center, marvel at the underwater world through a glass bottomed boat at Silver Springs, or reflect as the carillon plays at Bok Tower Gardens. You can even be lounging on a sandy beach along the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico in about an hour!
After a lot of research we have decided we would love to stay at the Quality Suites Royale Parc Suites Hotel, isn’t it just beautiful, I could really catch up on some rest if I were to stay here!!
I personally can’t wait to see some of the other activities that Kissimmee has in store for vacationers, such as the Ghost hunting walking tours in Kissimmee or St. Cloud or maybe the Richard Petty Driving Experience at WALT DISNEY WORLD® Speedway what could be cooler than that for some hardcore NASCAR fans like us?
We would defiantly spend one day at SeaWorld Orlando since “Bug” is a huge fan of fish and loves to visit the local aquariums here in Arkansas, so I think this would be a huge treat for him!!
But, all this is just a dream for now, but someday it will be a reality and you can start dreaming today too by visiting Kissimmee to plan your own fun filled family dream vacation!!
