One of the most important things I put on when I’m getting ready to leave the house no matter where I’m off to is my perfume! I love to wear perfume that smells good and last all day without being too strong or loosing its smell after an hour or so. I’ve recently been on a mission to find a new fragrance for my everyday use and when I happened to come upon Pretty Woman Perfume by Barbara Orbison, I was immediately intrigued by the description and I was beyond excided when I found out I was going to be able to review this fragrance here on my blog!
About Pretty Woman Perfume by Barbara Orbison (Taken From Website):
Barbara Orbison Introduces Pretty Woman Perfume To Celebrate the Pretty in Every Woman.
“Pretty Woman” immediately arouses warm, upbeat feelings, bringing to mind that iconic Roy Orbison song and conjuring up images of that favorite fairytale movie. And now, the power of that name will translate to an enchanting new fragrance from Roy Orbison’s wife Barbara. This signature perfume, due in stores in (September – early fall) promises to be a “scentsation,” capturing the hearts of consumers everywhere.
Like the notes of a song, the notes of Pretty Woman Perfume open to reveal a delightful melody of florals, spices and woods. It is a complex blend of hundreds of individual floral and spicy notes. Its crisp, luminous bergamot top note evolves to reveal a full, vivacious middle note accord of stargazer lily, red rose and carnation. The fragrance’s base note accord of fresh amber, patchouli, vanilla, atlas cedar and sacred incense combine with a lingering everlasting warmth and harmony.
“It has been a life-long dream of mine to create a perfume that speaks to women everywhere,” comments Barbara. “I believe that within every woman there is a pretty woman and my signature fragrance helps bring that out that inner beauty, confidence and spirit so they feel strong, empowered, sensual and pretty.”
Barbara has been involved in every step of the development from conception to launch. She worked closely with perfumers to formulate the exact scent she desired. She selected the bottle from prestigious fashion houses in Paris and worked closely with the graphic designers to craft a package and label that reflects the pure, elegant essence of the fragrance.
Pretty Woman Perfume is currently launching in specialty retailers including Planet Blue, Plaza Beauty in New York’s Plaza Hotel, Clydes in NYC, and Fred Segal.
I was sent a sample bottle of the Pretty Woman Perfume and a travel size candle to review and could not have been more excited when it arrived at my door. I was expecting it to take a week or two for it to arrive but to my surprise it arrived very quickly in what seemed like just a couple of days, so that was awesome!! I immediately put some of the fragrance on before heading out for the day and I absolutely love this fragrance! It’s unlike any other fragrance I have ever owned or tried before, it’s very unique and to be honest when I’m wearing it I feel very attractive and confident.
I’ve been wearing this fragrance everyday since I received the sample and I’ve gotten so many compliments on the fragrance and everyone wants to know what it is and were they can get their hands on it. My mother-in-law has also been hinting pretty heavy that she would love a bottle of Pretty Woman for Christmas this year so I think I’ve got one person scratched off my list and the best part…..she is the one I always have the hardest time buying for!
My husband also loves it when I wear Pretty Woman out to dinner or just around the house he says that it’s such a beautiful smell and fits me and my personality perfectly and he has also mentioned that he prefers this fragrance over my other high dollar top fragrance that I usually wear!
I also received a sample travel size Pretty Woman Perfume Candle in black to review and I absolutely love this candle as well I keep it burning in our bedroom area and I just love the scent that fills the room, it’s really relaxing and just really “set’s the mood” if you know what I mean, my husband loves it as well. The candle burns very cleanly and even though my sample candle is small it really puts out a big fragrance and has lasted quite some time of everyday burning.
I have officially found my new permanent fragrance, I love that it’s a very beautiful fragrance that Chad and I both really enjoy and can agree on! I just really can’t say enough good about this fragrance it’s everything I was looking for in a new fragrance and so much more!
If you are looking for a sophisticated fragrance that you can wear daily I really recommend Pretty Woman Perfume by Barbara Orbison!
