Duralex Glassware Kids Set Review & Giveaway
Since I have a toddler that is rather rough on dishes I have found that purchasing plastic glasses and plates for him is the best way to go but when I was asked to do a review of a kids set from Duralex Glassware I just couldn’t say no!
About Duralex Glassware (Taken From Website):
Founded in 1929, Duralex has been manufacturing tempered glassware and tabletop products for over 80 years in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin in the very heart of France. Since 1939, when Duralex invented the glass tempering process, the name Duralex has been associated with toughened glassware, utilizing their proprietary process. The original tempered (toughened) Picardie glasses are still in production in France and are known as the "original French tumblers". The Picardie glass is functional yet stylish and feels extremely comfortable in the hand. The tempered glasses are equally suitable for cold or hot drinks, conveniently stackable, impact and chip resistant, microwave-proof, dishwasher-safe, and the perfect weight. With the help of continuous investments and commitment to quality, Duralex has reached a level of excellence that makes its' products recognized throughout the world. Duralex is and will always remain a true French manufacturer of glassware and tabletop products, and is the only glass manufacturer that makes 100% of their products in France.
Our Thoughts:
We were sent a kids set that included one Duralex “Gigogne’ Glass and one Duralex kid-friendly tempered glass plates! Once they arrived “Bug” couldn’t wait to start using them so I immediately put them in the dishwasher so they would be ready for him when it was time for dinner.
The “Gigogne” glass is the perfect size for “Bug” it holds just the right amount of drink for his dinner and fits really nicely and comfortably in his hands so he doesn’t have a hard time using it. The plate is the perfect size as well it holds everything he needs rather it be breakfast, snack time or dinner it makes the perfect portions.
“Bug” has done extremely well with his set and has been a whole lot more careful that what I had expected him to be with these glass items since they are what he refers to as his “big boy dishes” and he even helps me put them in the dishwasher after each meal which I think is wonderful :0)!
Bottom Line:
“Bug” really enjoys using his new Duralex Kids Set and it’s really made him feel more grown up at meal time and they are just his size so what more could I have asked for?

Great giveaway! I visited their site. If I won, I'd keep this set at my house for when my niece comes over. I don't have any kid proof cups, plates for her and having this handy would be great!

Would love to win this for my 4 yo boy. He knows how to eat like a human but occasionally he still reverts to caveman sensibility. This would make those moments a little easier to handle.
