I’m sure I’ve stated this before but I’m a real beauty nut, and when it comes to our master bathroom the countertop is filled with lots of different types and brands of makeup because if you ask me there is no such thing as too much makeup!!! And the same thing goes for our shower being filled with different brands and types of shampoos and conditioners and then back to the counter being cluttered with different hair care products, but like I tell my husband it’s because I care about my hair and the way it looks and all the damage that I have done to it in the past it really needs all the TLC it can get and with it being all thin and flat I have a lot of products that promise to give it volume and life, so with that said when I was given the opportunity to review some products from Nick Chavez Beverly Hills I was soooooo excited!

Building on his former reputation, Nick’s salon immediately garnered such clientele as Margeaux Hemmingway, Lisa Hartmann, and Belinda Carlisle. Presently, Nick works with Maria Shriver, Ivana Trump, George Lopez, Queen Noor and Michelle Stafford. Nick, however, struggled with finding quality hair care products for his varied customers. True to his highly ambitious character, Nick took matters into his own hands and developed his own line, Nick Chavez Beverly Hills. Nick's FamilyNick comes from a large Mexican American family (with Yaqui and Quechan Indian blood in there too), the second oldest of seven children – four girls and three boys. His siblings from oldest to youngest are: John, Sue, Sonya, Joseph, Sandra, and Sherri. His parents, Kathryn and Juan, have been together for almost forty-five years, and as a family, are extraordinarily close and very proud of one another. The heroic Cesar Chavez, political activist and founder of the United Farm Workers union, is Nick’s third cousin.

Nick’s father is a farmer, and Nick grew up on a ranch outside Yuma, Arizona, in the Gila Valley. Like much of Arizona, its desert terrain and the temperature can climb to 120º F during the summer. But Nick loved it then and loves it now.

My Thoughts:

I was sent several hair products from Nick Chavez Beverly Hills to review and they to promised to give my hair body and life, but to be quite honest here I’ve heard that story before and I’ve got several bottles of other brands half full still sitting in my shower because they didn’t do as they promised but with an open mind I gave these products a shot!

The first items I received was a bottle of Volumizing Shampoo and a bottle of Volumizing Conditioner to review and I immediately started using these products and I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I have finally fell in love with a Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner that actually does exactly what it says it’s supposed to! My hair has never had this much volume nor looked this great in my entire life and the best part is that you only have to use a tiny amount of this shampoo and conditioner for it to work and the smell is so heavenly and lingers throughout the day to keep my hair looking great and smelling fresh no matter where I end up having to go!

Next I was sent Nick Chavez Beverly Hills Volumizing Extra Hold Hairspray, and this hairspray is just as wonderful as the Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner and really gives my hair the final touch and hold that it needs to outlast my hectic daily schedule! Again as with the Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner a little of the hairspray goes along way and holds all day long! I’m loving not only the volume that this hairspray adds to my hair when I spray it on my lifted roots but the bounce that it gives my hair and it doesn’t leave it all stiff like other hairsprays I’ve tried!


Bottom Line:
I would recommend Nick Chavez Beverly Hills hair care products to everyone even if you aren’t looking for lots of volume like I was, I’m sure Mr. Chaves has the perfect products for your hair and what you want to achieve from your hair care products! I am now planning on replacing my entire hair care collection with nothing but products from Nick Chavez Beverly Hills!
