Little Moon Essentials Review and Giveaway
I love to have time to pamper myself after a long day of cooking, cleaning, running errands and anything else my toddler can think of to have me do from playing Legos to make believe dragons and then the occasional day I get a lot accomplished here on my blog it’s just really nice to be able to sit back and just melt away the stress and tiredness of the day! So when I come across new products that offers that much needed release it’s a really great day!! When I discovered Little Moon Essentials I was just relaxed by visiting the site and seeing all the amazing products they offer and the beautiful colors on the site!
About Little Moon Essentials (Taken From Website):
Little Moon Essentials began with an actual dream Laura had in the winter of 1994. She dreamed of a warming, ginger mineral bath, called "Letting Go" that would help with her chronic eczema. She woke up the next morning with the blend in mind, the name, and a picture in her head of the jar. Being a studied aromatherapist and herbalist, she made the base with a combination of salts that was unique and unusual, and very high in essential minerals, with organic ginger as the keystone herb for its therapeutic healing properties. She completed the formula with essential oils known to aid in detoxification and stress relief, lavender, nutmeg & others. She prepared the jar, and took it to the local health food store where she worked, Alfalfa's Market in Boulder, Colorado, asking if they would sell it on consignment. The very next day the entire 10 pounds was gone, an entire gallon jar empty! Thus a dream company had begun, and with it the idea for a new kind of BODY MEDICINE - an easy-to-use product that would pamper you, and ALSO make your body healthier and better, every time you used it. Laura envisioned remedies that would make it easy to re-lease a rotten day or spur on a creative moment - a remedy for every reason!
My Thoughts:
I was sent several products to review and let me tell you I was so excited when the box arrived because it had already been one of “those days” and you all know what I’m talking about where nothing goes right or as you had planned….yeah one of those wonderful days! So it was a very welcome package and when I opened it I was wowed! All the items were packaged very nicely to keep them from breaking during shipping and was very secure!
The first item I received was the Clear Skies Ahead a soothing anti-stress spray! A little about the Clear Skies Ahead (from site)
Clear Skies Ahead is a life-saver for stress and to elevate the mood. Instant relief for attacks of anxiety, depression and butterflies in your tummy. Also great for over-active children (and adults!).
As you can see by the description it was perfect timing so as soon as I got it out of the packaging I though “Why not test it now, I could use a little lift” so I decided to spray a little around the kitchen area where I was doing an endless stack of dishes and to my complete surprise I felt a little more relaxed and no so cranky in a little of no-time. I use this just about everyday when I’m trying to get my head on straight and get something accomplished and I has helped me to focus more and feel much more relaxed! I’ve also found it soothing to spray a small amount on my pillows and bed sheets to help me relax and fall to sleep at night! The smell is also very pleasing to the nose and it’s something I would like to keep on hand from now on!
Next I was sent the Gimme A Break Bath Salts and I love this bath salt! I uses it about every other night when I actually get a chance to take a bath and not just grab a quick shower between chores, and I can tell how much that it actually relaxes me and gets me ready for bed! Oh and the smell is amazing, very relaxing! I think that this particular bath salt would make a wonderful new mom gift or just a great gift for any occasion! I’m thinking of getting my sister some for when she goes off for her first year of collage to help her relax!
Lastly I was sent the Beautiful Belly Butter! A little about the Beautiful Bell Butter (from site):
Beautiful Belly Butter is a wonderfully creamy salve for mothers and their changing skin. Helps prevent stretch marks in moms & to moisturize babys' skin. Boy! Do I ever wish I had some of this while I was pregnant with “Bug” this stuff is amazing!! I use it regularly on not just my belly but my hands and feet as well and it really makes a huge difference in the appearance and feel of my skin! It smells wonderful and presents wonderful results! This is a must have for any “New Mother” gift basket or gift! I’ve also used it on “Bug” a couple of times as an all over lotion and it really makes him all soft and cuddly!
Bottom Line:
I’m now a forever fan of Little Moon Essentials, they have some amazing products and at unbelievable prices! So now you can feel wonderful with out paying the high prices of going to the spa to relax you can now have your very own home spa! Oh and don’t forget about giving them to a friend or family member as a gift (they will love it)!!
