First Juice Review and Giveaway
Like most parents I try super hard to give my son snacks and drinks that not only taste good to him but I also want them to be good for him and teach him good habits about food and drink from the get go! Now I have tried lots of different products and brands but “Bug” is really picky at times when it comes to his snacks and juices and quite frankly we have yet to be successful at finding one that he likes and that’s good for him…well that is until we bought him one of his favorite cartoon dvds “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!-Wubbzy Goes Green” and inside was an advertisement for First Juice and he seemed really interested in trying some so I contacted First Juice for review and was stoked when the agreed!!
About First Juice (Taken From Website):
First Juice® Brand organic fruit and vegetable juice beverage is designed specifically for young, developing taste buds, with a blend that's naturally lower in sugar.* It's a new way for parents to get on a roll towards developing their young children's taste preferences early on. Less sugar. More health. Better choices.
Parents can continue to steer their children towards healthy colorful fruits and vegetables while putting the brakes on sugar and sweet.
Our Thoughts:
“Bug” was sent 4 juices to try out for review and he was sooo very excited when they arrived he wanted to drink one hot from the mail man..but I eventually talked him out of it and put them in the fridge to chill. After a few hours of him asking for it I had decided they should be cool enough for him to try one.
The first one he decided to try was the apple + carrot juice and of course I had to take a small sip of it myself and I’ll admit that this juice is pretty good and I would drink it myself, so I felt pretty confident giving it to my son. “Bug” seemed to really like it he drank about half of it and then said he wanted to save it for later so I put it back into the fridge, about 2-3 hours later he decided he wanted to finish it off along with his snack and he did!
The next day we tried the banana + carrot juice and this one is my favorite out of the 4 juices we were sent for the simple fact that I could taste more of the banana than carrot and I’m a huge fan of anything banana flavor! “Bug” decided to take this juice with us out to run errands and I was quite surprised when we stopped for gas that he didn’t hollar for his regular coke, instead he was quite content with his juice!
Next we tried out the peach + purple carrot juice and we received the same successful results we had with the other two flavors!
Last but not least we tried the blueberry + purple carrot juice and this one is by far “Bugs” favorite out of the 4 we received a 32oz refill bottle instead of the sippy top bottle for this one and it’s a good thing because he asks for it almost daily, and I was smart enough to save the other 3 bottles and reuse them so it makes it easer to take with us.
Overall I’m super happy we have discovered First Juice because now I can feel good about giving my son the juice he wants and we will never run out of this juice again at our house!

ReplyDeleteI learned that back in Ancient Persia they had purple carrots. The popular belief is that a 16th century Dutch scientist decided to adapt the carrot color to orange. That was really interesting!

ReplyDeleteI learned that carrots were originally purple (in ancient persia) and may other colors. A scientist combined them to create the orange carrot we know today.
