Yes, it’s finally that time of the year! You all know what I mean flip flops, shorts, tanks and of course the oh so popular swimsuit! If you know me I’ve very particular about my swimwear since ever since I had “Bug” I’ve been rather unhappy with my body so I’m constantly on the lookout for swimwear that I can wear and it flatter my body and not make me look like I just had a baby (2yrs ago)! I have been on the hunt for a swimsuit lately since it’s warm weather and the lakes here in Arkansas are starting to get to the right temperature to take the little guy out swimming! I got lucky and found Essential Swimwear!!
About Essential Swimwear and founder Brittany (Taken From Website):
After becoming thoroughly discouraged every season as I searched for the perfect swimsuit, I decided that it didn't exist. I was frustrated with expensive prices, wrong fits and the hassle of searching online for hours. Having some sewing experience, the thought came to mind, "Why don't I make my own swimsuit?"
After a lot of trial and error, I was finally able to sew swimsuits that were comfortable, stylish and flattering. I began making swimsuits for friends and family and soon the word started spreading.
I sold hand-sewn women's swimsuits in 2008 and 2009 and received an overwhelmingly positive response. I gained priceless knowledge as I personally fit hundreds of women. I was able to discover their needs, wants and insecurities. With this knowledge I was able to design a line of swimsuits for the 2010 season.
To increase the quality and keep up with demand I no longer hand-make the swimsuits, but am able to offer styles, designs and a price point that fits the needs of women.
I hope you enjoy wearing these swimsuits as much as I have enjoyed designing them!
I was sent the Blue Speedway Gathered Halter Top and the White Hipster Bottoms to review and I was so excited to receive them in the mail since I no long fit in my last years swimsuit since I’ve lost several pounds! I immediately opened it up and had to put it on, I love it! It fits so perfectly and it so darn cute! “Bug” even told me I looked pretty and he liked it so that was amazing, even the hubby had to say that it looked really nice on me! To me it made me look several inches thinner which is wonderful and exactly what I wanted! The quality of the suite is wonderful as well, I’m very pleased to say the least and I’ve been wearing it almost daily since receiving it to take my son out to swim while I laid out and got some sun in places that hasn’t seen sun all year. I will be keeping Essential Swimwear in mind next swim season when it’s time for me to get a new suit because I’m a firm believer in the quality of her swimwear! I think it would be wonderful if I could find “Bug” a matching set of trunks, we would really be styling out at the lake this weekend!
I really recommend Essentials Swimwear to any woman looking for that perfect swimsuit to flatter her this season!
