Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister Review and Giveaway

We drink a lot and I mean a lot of coffee around our home and you can just about bet that we always have a fresh pot of coffee ready when guest come into our home. The one issue we have since we are coffee freaks is trying to keep our favorite brand of coffee fresh and ready to brew. I generally don’t buy our coffee in a can so we don’t really have an official coffee canister to hold it so when I was offered the chance to review the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister, we just couldn’t pass it up!

About Friis (taken from website):

At Friis, we love coffee as much as you do. And we know what rich, satisfying coffee means to you. Coffee is our passion. We develop and design our products to make your life taste better. It is our mission to enrich your coffee experience.

We craft each product with a combination of distinctive design and genuine value. The Friis Innovations Team works with the Friis Customer Panel to understand the little (but important) things in life and find ways to make them better. Through our rapid prototyping and fast cycle innovation process, we are able to bring you solutions that make life taste better.

Our Thoughts:

We were sent the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister to review and I must say it arrived quickly and we could not wait to transfer out coffee from out regular canister to the Coffee Vault Canister. We immediately started using the canister, but we didn’t immediately notice the difference because we didn’t buy new coffee to put in the canister we just transferred the coffee we already had. After we finished off that coffee, we purchased another bag of coffee and immediately put it in the canister.

So now the question is does this canister really keep the coffee fresh and tasting like it was just purchased….short answer YES! We were simply amazed at how great our coffee tasted out of this canister it was so rich and fresh more so than from the previous store bought canister we were using. Even coffee that comes in it’s own can doesn’t taste this fresh! I can honestly say that the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister has completely changed the way I look at storing my coffee and I can guarantee that I will never store it in anything other than the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister!

Even our guest…including my father who is more particular about his coffee than we are, has commented that the coffee from the Friis canister was much fuller in flavor and tasted very fresh. He even mentioned lately that Father’s Day is right around the corner, and he would love to have one of these to keep his own coffee in. Most notably since we have experienced the wonderful way the Friis canister keep our coffee fresh and full of flavor we have began buying our coffee in beans and grinding it ourselves since now we can and not loose money because we have to throw it out after a week or so like we had to when we were using a store bough regular canister.

Bottom Line:

I am absolutely in love with our Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister, and I’m pretty sure my husband and I know my dad will agree! We totally recommend adding the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister to your coffee arsenal, if you want to keep your coffee fresh and full of flavor longer than ever before!

Listen up! If you have a father in your life who is a coffee buff….like mine, the Friis Coffee Vault Storage Canister would make a wonderful Father’s Day gift and best of all you will give them the gift that keeps giving each time they make their favorite cup of coffee, full of flavor and so fresh!

  29. I make a single cup every night using my Senseo with an adapter to use my own ground coffee instead of buying the pods. That means that quite often before I can get through an entire bag or can of beans, they become stale and bitter. Friis could obviously prolong the quality of the beans I buy.

  76. I visited Friis and would LOVE to win this because I am the only coffee drinker in the house. And while I do drink a LOT of coffee, I always buy it in the larger cans because it is more economical. This canister would help keep my coffee fresher longer -- and with the price of coffee these days, that is a VERY good thing!
