Having a toddler around the house makes a huge difference in the products I choose to clean with. I do my best to find cleaning products that are not only very effective at cleaning but are also safe to use in my kitchen and around my son. I was told by several of my friends and family members that I should check out a company known as Seventh Generation so of course I did and I have to say that I love their products they give me the clean I’m looking for and are also safe to use in my household with a toddler!!!
About Seventh Generation (Taken from their Website):
Seventh Generation is committed to becoming the world's most trusted brand of authentic, safe, and environmentally-responsible products for a healthy home. For 20 years, the closely held Burlington, Vermont-based company has been at the forefront of a cultural change in consumer behavior and business ethics.
One of the country's first self-declared "socially responsible" companies, Seventh Generation is a business that operates according to a new and different set of principles and values that in many ways are a marked departure from those long considered "traditional." Its business practice is focused on offering people avenues to express their idealism, passion, and commitment to causes larger than themselves at every point along its supply chain—from suppliers and partners to shareholders, customers and its own staff.
The company derives its name from the Great Law of the Iroquois that states, "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." Every time you use a Seventh Generation product you are making a difference by saving natural resources, reducing pollution, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.
Educating This and Future Generations
Seventh Generation is committed to helping consumers make informed choices.
Seventh Generation provides information in several formats: on packaging, on this Web site, in 7Gen News (look in the upper right corner on any Seventh Generation web page to sign up) and in booklets and presentations by Chief Inspired Protagonist Jeffrey Hollender, company co-founder and Executive Chairperson as well as other members of our community.

Our donations program

I was blessed to receive the Living Home Starter Kit that included:
Glass Cleaner - Grapefruit
All-Purpose Cleaner - Green Mandarin
Toilet Bowl Cleaner - Emerald
Shower Cleaner - Green Mandarin
Tub & Tile Cleaner
(2) Natural Paper Towels - 120 Count
As soon as I got the package I set to work testing out the products:
First I used the Glass Cleaner and I loved it! It left my windows undeniably clean with no streaks and a beautiful sparkle! I was also pleased with the smell it didn’t burn your nose like the other glass cleaners have a tendency to do.
I also used the Natural Paper Towels to wipe the windows and other glass that I used the Glass Cleaner on and I am also very happy with the results from the paper towels as well they are very heavy duty and last for more than one window!
Next I went into the kitchen and used the glass cleaner and the All-Purpose and Kitchen cleaner and I was just as impressed it worked super well and also with out the nose burning smell of the other cleaners!
Lastly I headed into the worst area of the home to clean!! The bathroom and with two boys in the house it can get pretty yucky pretty quick! I used the Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Shower Cleaner and the Tub and Tile Cleaner and I have to tell you they made cleaning the bathroom a whole lot more pleasant and it seemed to not take as long with Seventh Generation products as it does with my regular cleaners!
My over all opinion of the Seventh Generation products I received is that I love them! I will from now on only be using Seventh Generation cleaning products in my household and I truly recommend them to everyone! They are not only very effective but they are safe for the whole family and they don’t have an overwhelming chemical smell!
You can get your very own Seventh Generation products at a store near you or you can get them online!
