I’ve got some very awesome mineral make-up products to share with all of my fellow make-up lovers who read this blog! After reviewing the products from Everyday Minerals for the past several weeks, I think that you are all going to love these products and best of all I have a very special giveaway to offer one of my lucky readers!
About Everyday Minerals (taken from website):
Everyday Minerals products are free of nanotechnology, carmine,
dimethicone, fragrance, animal by products, bismuth oxychloride,
silicone and lake dyes. We are a vegan line, offering high quality mineral makeup at a price affordable to all women.
Everyday Minerals is about:
1) Being healthy. That means taking care of my skin by using all-natural products that are actually good for it! That's why Carina started this mineral makeup company.
2) Saving money. I am not going to pay 25-40 bucks on foundation. Period. Our products are ridiculously inexpensive. That's also why Carina started this mineral makeup company. Women shouldn¹t have to pay a premium for looking stunning.
3) Thinking globally in everyday actions. As a woman and mother with a daughter, women’s issues are very important to me. At Everyday Minerals, we believe that women’s issues are the moral battleground of this century. As such, we recently launched our Everyday Forward mission, in which all proceeds from a designated product go to a selected woman’s charity, such as Kiva.org, Womenforwomen.org, Care.org, and Globalliving.org. One day every woman in the world will
be given the love, dignity, and appreciation they deserve to fulfill their gifts and dreams.
I was sent two amazing products to review from Everyday Minerals, now I did not get to choose the two items that I got to review but I did describe my skin tone to the lovely Carina and Kate so they could ship out the products they felt would be best for me and let me just say they nailed it! I also want to note that after letting them know my skin tone it didn’t take long at all for my products to arrive safe and sound at my door!
The first product I was sent was the Our First Date Eye Palette that is a collection of four gorgeous eye shades: Sea Horse (eye shadow), Comfy (eye shadow), Wallaby(eye shadow) and Black (eyeliner) all in an adorable little compact with it’s own applicator brush so that you have all you need to create a beautiful look! Now, the Everyday Minerals website has a guide to follow to create a super easy and very beautiful look just follow these four simple steps:
Step 1: Place Sea Horse all over the lid and brow bone.
Step 2: Use Comfy to darken the crease.
Step 3: Lightly sweep Wallaby over the crease to give a contrast and depth to the look.
Step 4: Finish the look with bold, black eyeliner
Of course I’m always up to try new looks so I immediately decided to try the colors just as stated on the website and I could not have been happier with the look that I achieved and best of all it took little time and looked amazing! I don’t know if you know this by now but I’m pretty particular about the eye products I use and generally I stick to the same brands and such but after using the Everyday Minerals eye shadows and eye liner I am totally in love! I love how silky smooth the colors go on and how light they feel on my eyes, it’s almost as if I’m not wearing much make-up at all! I also hate eye products that make it difficult to take them entirely off before bed at night but Everyday Minerals last all day with no touch-ups but they are very easy to remove before bed with simple makeup remover! I’ve also used these colors mixed with other colors of eyeshades that I already owned and I have to say that I am very impressed with Everyday Minerals and will continue to have them apart of my cosmetic cabinet from now on!
I was also sent the lovely Apple Blush, now I am a huge blush fan, and I wear it daily even if I don’t put on all my make-up blush is a must have to brighten up my entire look and I generally go with a light pink color so this blush was perfect! I have also been wearing the Apple Blush from Everyday Minerals just about daily and I’m loving it as well. I love that it goes on so smooth and it only takes just a tiny amount on my blush brush to give my face the nice rosey cheeks that I love to sport! I love that this blush works with foundation/powder or alone to create a very nice everyday look.
I’m loving my Everyday Minerals products and I can highly guarantee that I will be adding more of the eye shadow pallets and other products to my collection! I love the way they apply silky smooth and how amazing they look on my skin! I have never tried a mineral make-up that has preformed as well as Everyday Minerals and I can honestly say that they have changed the way I look at all mineral make-up!
