As some of you probably already know, my husband and I are currently remolding our 1970’s home and trying to go as green as we can. We are working on our master bathroom and guest bathroom right now and the one thing we really wanted to change was the shower head in the guest bathroom since it was the one original to the home built in the 1970’s and it was not only really out of date and style but it didn’t help us save any water to promote our going green lifestyle. I was recently given the opportunity to review a shower head from Bricor and I just couldn’t pass it up.
About Bricor (taken from website):
Bricor produces the best low-flow products in the plumbing industry! Not only are they the most Efficient showerheads and aerators that your money can buy, but they give you the best Performance when compared side by side with the competition.
Bricor is the only patented vacuum flow venture in the plumbing industry, with innovative applications in the new, Bricor Knuckle(TM), as well as the commercial Pre-Rinse Sprayer for the Restaurant Industry.
We were sent the Elite-E shower head in Nickel-Chrome finish to review and I have to say that it arrived very quickly from the company and installation was super quick and easy. The hardest part of putting in the shower head was trying to remove the old one. I do want to note that if you do decided to purchase a Bricor shower head or any other shower head to be sure to use plumbers tape to insure a proper seal between the threads on the neck of the shower head and the shower head arm, because if you don’t seal it good enough it will let water leak and cause the shower head to mess up or not have the pressure it should have.
My husband installed our new shower head in less than 15 minuets and it has been wonderful having a new shower head in our guest bathroom. We have used our new Elite-E shower head daily for the past several weeks and we love it! It has really helped with the actual pressure in the shower, I think we have more now with the Elite than we did with our ancient shower head. I have not noticed a huge difference in our water bill the last month but it was a bit cheaper, but it’s much to early to say that it’s due to the use of our new shower head. We have now decided to purchase another Elite-E shower head this summer to replace the shower head in our master bathroom once we replace the tub itself. The shower head itself looks wonderful with our décor, we have a fly fishing theme going on in our guest bathroom and the chrome-finish fit in perfectly and just really add a nice touch.
We love our new Elite-E shower head and it’s made going green in our bathroom renovations a very easy yet beautiful choice! The Elite-E shower head retails for $79.95, but Bricor offers a variety of beautiful shower heads that range from $24.95 to as high as $99.95 so going green with Bricor doesn’t have to break the bank they have something that will fit in any budget and any décor!
If you are looking for an easy and cost efficient way to go green in your bathrooms and not to mention giving your tub a complete new and updated look we would highly recommend checking out the line of stylish and cost effective shower heads from Bricor!
