Still Looking For the Perfect Halloween Costume for Your Little Ones?

I know Halloween is only 3 days away but I also know some of you may still be stumped as what to dress your little ones up as this Halloween and I know the exact feeling, “Bug’s” first Halloween was one that I wasn’t totally prepared for so I know about the last minuet Halloween Costume shopping! Well this year I was prepared but when I was contacted about receiving a Buddy Halloween Costume (Buddy, is from Dinosaur Train) I knew my son would love it so I immediately said yes!

Our costume arrived super fast and "Bug" couldn't wait to finish his snack so that he could try it on and now as I'm typing this he is running around the house roaring and chasing our new puppy! He is refusing to come out of the costume or out of his dinosaur character for any reason, and I find it quite amusing that he is spinning in circles trying to catch his dinosaur tail! I have a sneaking suspicion that this Halloween is going to be one to remember and that this costume is going to be a huge hit with “Bug’s” cousins that love Dinosaur Train!

DINOSAUR TRAIN ON PBS
Starting October 25, PBS KIDS will offer a spooktacular lineup of Halloween-themed episodes, including DINOSAUR TRAIN –"Night Train" in which Dad, Buddy and Tiny take a special ride on the Dinosaur Train at night, learning about animals that are active after dark, culminating at the Big Pond for a nature walk under the full moon. Educational component: Many animals are most active at night, usually as a means to avoid detection by predators or to aid in hunting (depending on the animal). This lifestyle may have applied to some dinosaurs as well, including Troodon.

There’s also a great music video for the Halloween episode at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/HensonCompany

ABOUT DINOSAUR TRAIN:
DINOSAUR TRAIN embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains. This top-rated, award-winning series, which airs on PBS KIDS®, encourages basic scientific thinking skills as the audience learns about life science, natural history and paleontology.

The stars of DINOSAUR TRAIN are Buddy, an adorable preschool age Tyrannosaurus rex, and his adoptive Pteranodon family who board the DINOSAUR TRAIN to embark on adventures to prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans. In season one of the series, children were introduced to over 40 types of dinosaurs, providing an excellent opportunity to learn and now to collect their favorite dinosaurs. A second season of DINOSAUR TRAIN for PBS KIDS® is currently in development for 2011.
