My thoughts:

I was kindly sent the I Dig™ Excavation Adventures T-Rex Skeleton Excavation Adventure for review. And first off I must say that my 22 month old son was stoked just by looking at the box he was running around the house saying dinosaurs and for him that is a huge word!! The I Dig Dinosaurs T-Rex Skelton Excavation Adventure is recommended for ages 6+ but with the help of his grandpa Zane had a blast digging this Tyrannosaurus out of the glacial rock! The kit includes the bones encased in glacial rock, Paleontologist Field Guide, steel digging tools, finishing paints with brush and safety glasses. Instead of just telling you how much fun we had being Paleontologist I’ll also show you!!!!

Here is my little Paleontologist setting up and getting ready for the big dig! He was so excited and it really did surprise me with him only being 22 months old so I’m hoping that he is going to enjoy science like I do.

So moving on here he is chipping away at the rock with the digging tools! If I were to make a change with this kit I would include one of those small brushes to brush away the loose rocks and “dirt” to make it that much more realistic, but I’m telling you this kit is great!!! But just take my advice don’t do this on carpet we did and well it was a bit messy but very easy to clean up!

Here he has found his first bone and he is amazed and not quite sure what to do now! He wanted to just jerk it up but he had to keep on digging so I think this was great to test his patience and to my surprise he was very patient and kept on digging until he uncovered all the bones!

Then we snapped the bones together and now we have our T-Rex! Very easy assembly and Zane loved it!

All in all with the help of grandpa and is aunt KK it took almost an hour to uncover and dislodge the bones out of the rock. So we defiantly give this product 2 thumbs way up and say this is an amazing product and if you have a little budding scientist you should defiantly check out these kits! I am going to be on the look out for the other kits in the I Dig Dinosaurs collection to complete Zane new found collection!

Plush Puffs Review and Giveaway

First off I want to thank Plush Puffs for letting me host this awesome review and giveaway here on my blog.

Plush Puffs (http://www.plushpuffs.com/) offers the highest quality, all natural, intensely flavored marshmallows with no high fructose corn syrup and they are naturally low in fat and gluten free. They come in 7 mouth watering flavors: Vanilla Bean, Caramel Swirl, Chocolate Chipetta, Sydney’s Cinnamon, Peppi-Mint, Simply S’mores and Luscious Lemony Meringue! You can get these in either packs of 16-18 1" cube marshmallows, 1lb bulk bag or you can get them in one gigantic marshmallow that is almost 2lbs.

Here is the Plush Puffs story:

Once upon a time (Halloween time that is) a young boy asked “hey Mom, let’s make pumpkin marshmallows today”. Mom said, “hmmm, that sounds interesting, let’s give it a go!”. Well, that Mom called another Mom (who both coincidentally already worked as chefs together) and they went to it. After many painstaking hours in the test kitchen and many “almost batches”, Plush Puffs were born! Much to our delight, a whole bunch of other flavors turned out beautifully, and finally a special flavor we added last fall Pumpkin Praline! From the first hit, Toasted Coconut to the Chocolate Chipetta, they have all been a labor of love. In fact, it is still hard to resist more than one taste test when the batches are being made.

What Makes Plush Puffs So Special:
We’re devoted to the artisan marshmallow product. And because of this, we have had to be quite creative about the process of getting these made right. Downright innovative sometimes. But nobody cares about the process behind the scenes, because what makes our marshmallows so special is how they taste. Even after all these years of making marshmallows, we still love to eat Plush Puffs ourselves and share them with our friends and family because we think they just taste so darn good. We've tried all the other marshmallows out there - and there are some good ones. But we consistently come away feeling confident that ours are best gourmet marshmallow product. available. We think you'll agree.

I was lucky enough to get to try out 3 of their 7 flavors and I’m so amazed at the lushness of these marshmallows!! I received the Simply S’Mores, Peppi-Mint and the Caramel Swirl marshmallows and I am happy to say that I loved them all and the whole family agreed that they were some of the most unique desserts that we have every had. I tried them all out in the last week with my nightly hot chocolate by the fire and they were a very nice touch to make it a wonderful decadent winter treat. My husband isn’t much of a sweets eater but he has completely clamed the S’mores and almost has the entire package gone. My son was a huge fan of the S’mores as well but I think he liked the Caramel Swirl the best out of all 3 choices. I myself love anything peppermint so of course I put a clam on the Peppi-Mint marshmallow! I think these would make a wonderful addition to your holiday party this year as a fun treat for your guest as well as I think it would make a wonderful addition to any stocking you are stuffing this year. The first thing I thought about when I tried my first Peppi-Mint marshmallow was WOW my little sister (who is away in collage) needs to get a package of these from home for Christmas this year! I think I may send her one of Plush Puffs gift baskets they have available on their website. You can see it HERE (http://www.plushpuffs.com/ordering?type=gifts&rid=HBOXXFCMDSLGNVVWJRGF) there is endless possibilities for these wonderfully unique marshmallows. I would like to see them develop a strawberry cheesecake flavor to add to their already awesome collection of flavors.
I want to share a few of the wonderful flavors available:

Vanilla Bean Plush Puffs are fluffy and soft and made with real vanilla beans! The "Cadillac Marshmallow" is the classic for tasting and toasting, and is wonderful when melted into a coffee or hot chocolate. And like all Plush Puffs, they're equally yummy right out of the package.

No need to race around looking for the grahams and chocolate anymore! We've put it all together for you. We begin with our Vanilla Bean marshmallow and then mix in all-natural graham pieces, dust the whole thing with light cocoa powder and top it with chocolate chips. Make sure to buy some to share, because Smores are so much more fun when everyone makes a gooey delicious marshmallow mess!

Really, there is no comparison when it comes to the meeting of ecstasy and subtle indulgence – and this marshmallow will bring you there. We found this boutique, small-batch caramel a few years ago, and were excited to pair it with our marshmallows. When our Caramel Swirl melts in your mouth you get a small peek into the world of unfettered bliss. Now, roast it or dip it into a delicious dark chocolate fondue and the description of this experience edges on one of obscenity, which we do not endorse here at Plush Puffs, so we’ll leave that one to you. And like all Plush Puffs, they’re equally yummy right out of the package.

You can purchase all the wonderful flavors and a few more on the website
